Sweepstakes and ContestsSweepstakes and contests are powerful marketing campaigns that can allow for building an audience and/or connecting with an audience. Once you have established an audience and a connection with them, you can utilize your social media to stay connected, promote your brand, and offer promotions to help convert your audience into business!
Many people think that sweeps or contests are easy - offer a big cash prize or offer a free iPad, and you have success. It isn't that simple though! With my guidance, we will identify your target audience, and devise a sweeps or contest that will attract that specific office. If you are selling women's products and your free iPad giveaway attracted a male audience, that campaign failed!

Audience BuildingAlthough sweeps and/or contests are great ways to build an audience, they aren't the only method. Another powerful way to build an audience is building a fan base through posting. This can be through blog posts or just through post on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Building an audience organically through posting may take more time than a sweeps or contest, but typically the audience built is more qualified as they decided to follow you because they are truly interested in what you have to say. Therefore more likely to be interested in what you have to sell.
Should it fit, a hybrid version of both techniques can help boost building an audience from the beginning with a sweeps or contest, while then organically retaining and building a bigger audience through a voice that people want to hear (or read) moving forward.

Facebook PostingTo many, posting content is a simple task that they can find a college intern to come in and do for free. Thought it may be easy to find an intern to post, many find out that it doesn't necessarily promise producing results.
There's a real strategy behind content marketing. The internet is a plethora of information, therefore people are very selective on what they consume, let alone interact with. For every post your Facebook page makes, there are hundreds if not thousands feeding into people's newsfeeds within an hour of your post.
